Welcome to Windsor Ball Hockey. Home of the Windsor Invaders!

Windsor Minor Ball Hockey is committed to making Ball Hockey a major sport in the Windsor Essex County area. Our program provides adults of Windsor-Essex County with a non-contact, recreational activity that runs from May to September.

Our program is currently available to adults 18+.

Benefits of playing Windsor Minor Ball Hockey.

One of the fastest growing sports in North America, Windsor Ball Hockey is an exciting gender neutral sport for players of all ages. Ball hockey is all about Skill development and fun!

Our level of play helps players to make new friends and sharpen fundamental hockey skills.

What equipment will I need?

All players must wear a CSA (Canadian Standards Association) approved helmet, ice hockey gloves and running shoes. Players under the age of 18 are required to wear full facial protection as well. (As well as a signed consent form).

Although not mandatory, it is recommended that players wear elbow pads, athletic cup, soft knee pads and shin guards. As well, adults should consider wearing facial protection to protect their eyes. Standard ice hockey sticks are used.

2 types of balls are officially recognized for play by the CBHA. It is usually orange in appearance and not much larger than a tennis ball. A hard (Pro) Version is recommended for adult warm climate play. The soft (recreation) version is recommended for younger youth age groups and all winter play. CBHA member leagues must use either version manufactured by D-Gel with product numbers (350) hard and (360) soft with the official CBHA logo, commencing in 2003.

Is it possible to sponsor a team?

Companies may sponsor teams or divisions in Windsor Inline Hockey. The fees for sponsorship are:

• Team Sponsorship $250.00
• Division Sponsorship $1500.00
